Well, if I get a thread of messages and I expand to the thread with the actions rotor. Then I flip to the right to read the first message. So I don’t have to open the message unless it’s too long for the preview pane. Having read the preview pane, I may delete the message. I expect to see the next message in the thread. But God knows where I might be. It’s like I’m in the next message in the order in the mail list, not the next message in the thread. It’s like once I expand the thread, the system no longer recognizes it as such.
