Baloney. While I am a patriotic American and I love all things American, I do
not for one second believe this utter nonsense.

The World is NOT heavily dependent on U.S. agriculture. The time where the
world depended on U.S. Agricultural output has long come and gone.

And has it actually occured to you that increased temperature of a few degrees
would actually increase plant growth over and above the longer planting season?
and over and above more land available for planting? And has it actually
occured to you that increased CO2 levels would help plants grow faster and
bigger?

Jed, I admire what you are doing with your library, but with these topics,
you're absolutely deluded. And by the way, as one who actually owns land and
plants crops, I believe I am more qualified to discuss food production than you.

I mean to say "and if it continues it will lead to starvation . . ."

The world is heavily dependent on U.S. agriculture. The extreme weather
conditions will affect the entire world.

Needless to say, assuming this trend continues agriculture in other countries
will also suffer. In a few places such as Canada output may increase, but not
by much. There is no doubt this will lead to unprecedented starvation, because
the world population is so high.
