I agree with you on Yahoo (although I never
dealt with a human there--just online).
Original contact with them was 4 years ago, and
it took me almost an afternoon to find a niche and to
get the forms perfect for my website--*sound technology
for meditating, learning, relaxing, getting well, in addition
to training others how to go out-of-body.*
...And I'm a trained librarian with 30 years experience!
You are also correct--they are a giant directory--not a
search engine, per se. One good thing (thinking as an
archivist) this is the only game in town which has some
sort of organized setup for all the websites (by subject)
in the universe--almost from the beginning--and that will
be handy by and by--just as subject headings in the card
catalog once were.
......or another moneymaker :-)
