I agree with you whole-heartedly, Gary. I always teach my
students that Yahoo is a directory. There are times when it is
perfect (when I'm looking for "sites about ..."). The Mining
Company is usually appropriate for the same searches. There
are other times it won't do (when I'm looking for a specific site).
And, yes, I have sites that have never made the Yahoo "grade",
for whatever reason.
