I do not really have any big goals that I got to implement (or that I
am able to implement). But these are the things that I would like to
see ingame:

I thought I would elaborate a bit also:
* Work on tiles.
Explore more the possibilites the terrain WML gives to find new and
better ways of doing things. Make complete "terrain sets" which will
transition well within sets, and good enough between sets. Work towards
more consistent scale within terrain and buildings, work to replace the
old "black-outline style" with more advanced shading techniques.
* GUI improvements.
Icons, layout, dialogs etc. Will look into themes and see what can be
done here. I have made some mock-ups, which morloth is working on now
(game summary dialog fx).
* Terrain engine.
I also would like some changes to facilitate further improvement to the
terrain. Two (or more) layered map format to allow for things like
bridges to go over different types of terrain withouth lots of tile
duplication and use of many letters, also yobbo are exp. with drawing
roads this way. Several map-layers should in addition to allow for more
flexibility make the WML less complex in some cases. Two-letter terrain
chars, we are currently running out of chars. Unfortunately I can't code
this myself, but I will try to give input and ideas.
* Wiki
There is a Wiki page where we try to work out some goals/guidelines for
terrain work: http://www.wesnoth.org/wiki/Tiles_Status (Input there is
appreciated).
