--- Comment #59 from Erik Moeller <[email protected]> 2011-09-14 17:05:48 UTC --- Hi, I'll post some additional thoughts later today or tomorrow, but wanted to post a quick note just thanking everyone who's posted here, and re-stating that we're here to listen and help. That doesn't mean slavish execution of any request that has a high degree of support, no matter how potentially problematic we think it may be. But it does mean that we're not ignoring comments at all, including concerns about new page patroller workload, low quality articles, etc. I would again request detailed consideration of the page we've posted, which is far from perfect, but which does discuss more issues than just usability. http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/ArticleCreationWorkflow If this discussion is making you really frustrated, I'd also suggest just taking a break from it. Our intent here isn't to ram anything through -- it's to listen & figure out a way forward. Let's get out of the "us vs. them" and look at this problem together, realizing that there are different views which all have value and grounding in reality.
