It's a myth that no one on staff is a Wikipedian and that we have zero experience dealing with new pages and new editors. There are others including Erik, but as examples Philippe and I are both active English Wikipedia admins who have deleted thousands of pages between us. We know exactly how much crap flows in to the project. 2). Actually I think as part of our work on this, I would be happy to commit to doing a solid chunk of New Page Patrol in my off time.
