--- Comment #60 from The Blade of the Northern Lights <[email protected]> 2011-09-14 17:28:12 UTC --- I don't know where anyone is getting the idea that there was "no clear consensus". The proposal was closed by an admin, who made an extremely detailed summary of what the consensus was; that we should go ahead with a trial. Unless you'd like us to present you with a shrubbery and chop down the tallest tree in the woods with a herring, I don't know how else we could have possibly gotten a clearer consensus. I would pay very close attention to comments 57 and 58; I was one of the most prolific NPPers for the last year, and I can confirm everything said above. I would argue that making new users go through AfC will be easier, because instead of reading pages on how to create articles they can actually work WITH an experienced user. I've worked some at AfC now, and the users there are very friendly and accommodating. That will be a much better experience for new users than reading through a huge ream of text. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug.
