A bit, yes. I was refuting an argument Snottywong made in favor of the trial,
though, so it seems to me that that's fair game.

Eh? I replied directly to a quote from Snottywong, where this sentiment (or at
least argument/reasoning, maybe sentiment is the wrong word) is quite apparent.

Like I said, I haven't been involved with this discussion. I don't have a
strong opinion either way on whether page creation for non-autoconfirmed users
should be allowed or not. I do, however, have a strong opinion about the
"things shouldn't be made too easy" kind of arguments like the one I quoted.
