the neighbor's OE account is corrupted. Delete the account,
then recreate the account from scratch.
You may also want to temporarily test your email account
on her PC, to see if the problem affects all accounts on

I think I mentioned that I installed Thunderbird on her PC and the same
thing happens (although there's no error message to prove it).

CHANGE WIN-HOME your_old_address your_new_address
to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Note carefully that both old and new addresses are required.
