Maybe the answer to Paul's questions are to redefine the extent of benefits
to be extended to all employees and their dependents etc.

Since Massachusetts started the ball rolling on Gay Marriage some may not be
aware of what has been getting attention in Colorado City, Arizona
http://www.polygamyinfo.com/media%20plyg%20212herald.htm This is a issue as
its has similar impact on employer state, federal retirement and healthcare
benefits. Should the actions or approval of one state in defining marriage
impact all states? Will Arizona put the polygamy issue on the front page as
well by legalizing it or at least not banning it? Should a widowed
sister(brother) in law be allowed to marry her sisters(brothers) husband
(wife) a well so that their employer must include them both under his (her)
health coverage or retirement? Is marriage the lever for universal
healthcare and retirement benefits?
