Blue Hills Trail report...
Locally we continue to take our best skis to Audie Flowage ( http://www.centurytel.net/bluehills/audie.htm
) while awaiting enough snow to begin using
the trail system -- conditions at Audie were excellent skiing freshly
groomed, packed powder today (Sunday Jan. 26) with temperatures near
0 degrees F under brilliant sunshine. The west side trails
were rolled for the first time on Saturday (Jan. 18), but could certainly
use more snow. For adventurous souls who are desperate for variety &
have ROCK skis, it is possible to ski there. A-to-B is especially rocky,
but J-to-I-to-C-to-D-to-F to the little lake is enjoyable. There is an access
from Audie to the WestSideTrail -- check the Blue Hills website for details:
