The Blue Hills area received about 3 inches of fresh snow Saturday morning (Jan. 18).  Your best skis are in order at Audie Flowage where a good alternative exists to the sparse snow on the trail system -- skiing Audie today (Monday, Jan. 20) was very good to excellent for both skating and striding (although cold temperatures and relatively fresh snow meant slow going).  The west side trails were rolled for the first time on Saturday, but could certainly use more snow.  For adventurous souls who are desperate for variety & have ROCK skis, it is possible to ski there.
