Blue Hills Trail report...
Another taste of winter -- 2+ inches of
wet sticky snow yesterday afternoon (Saturday, April 27) plus snowfall all
Saturday evening. This provided enough of a fresh cover Saturday
to allow slow waxless striding through the picture-perfect woods (no
grooming until the base improves). This must set the modern record
for latest skiable snow in this area -- and even though the conditions were
so slow, it sure beats mowing the lawn.
