Blue Hills Trail update...
Still base to enjoy: milder temperatures have
changed the base to a soft saturated corn snow with open areas on the
steeper sun-exposed hills. Skiing today (Monday, April 8) found
relatively slow skating conditions leaving one-inch chevrons; waxless
striding is probably enjoyable. Most areas have from 4 to 6 inches
of base (more in sheltered locations).
