Blue Hills Trail update...

On Friday, March 15th, Thursday's 10" snowfall was rolled and a striding track was set for all of the WestSide & majority of the EastSideTrail.  The rest of the EastSide was groomed Saturday, March 16th while also performing some touch-up grooming with the Tidd Tech.

This provided very good to excellent conditions for skating and striding today (Saturday, March 16).  The base was a bit soft in areas most freshly groomed, and firmed up as the day progressed -- but who's complaining?  Even though winter may have arrived late, the abundant base is welcome.  With the sun high in the sky, and temperatures in the mid to upper thirties, it was a shirtsleeve, late winter day.
