During the account setup Entourage automatically detecting the server address as htps://mail.server.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx . It was working with this setting before the update. I tried to set it as https://mail.server.com but it did not work either.
After so many trials I gave up and uninstalled the office and re-installed it. Auto update installed first 12.1.0 and then 12.2.3 update. I set up Entourage and it was working. Since my backup mailbox data is from EWS Edition I installed EWS 13.0.3 update and faced exactly the same problem. Again I uninstalled the office but this time I installed 12.1.0 and 12.2.0 updates manually. Then I tried to install EWS 13.0.0 but the installer is refusing to install with the error message "A version of the software required to install this update was not found on this volume". Is there any way to go back to EWS 13.0.0 version?
