'Confronting' in my post below does not mean being "confrontational". Big difference!

Is that so? Please share your alternate definitions of these words! Please also note I prefaced my comment with "If" - something you might try now and then to appear less... is it confronting of confrontational?

I was using your somewhat ironic word choice to make another related point. Since you didin't address this, and instead shifted my point to a lesser one about how the words are being misused, I will re-express my point below.

It means actually facing and dealing with whatever reality brings rather than searching after attachments...

If "facing and dealing" is required, there is attachment to the dealer's dealings.

Whatever action/inaction arises, is also what 'reality brings'.

"Facing and dealing" appears to be a matter of taking a position from which to face everything else. If this is so, it seems to perpetuate the common/dual misunderstanding. Any separation of reality from dealing with reality (be it obvious, subtle, or hidden), would be yet another expression of the fundamental delusion you think you are dealing with by facing this.

Surely that is not your meaning, so if you could please clarify: What you are getting at with this business of 'dealing' with reality, and how there is possibly any/any other choice?

To be clear, I do seek or need an answer, I'm just asking for a clarification of this one you have already presented to avoid further misunderstanding your concepts of this. However you shuffle the deck, it's still your deal.
