Edgar, Bill!, All,
A nice bedtime story, and exposition of Lazy Man's "zen".
An excuse not to practice, "Buji zen", and a cover for one's failure to
continue practice to awakening, and after. A scenario created by ego, shame,
and inadequacy to the task. A taking up residence in a side-alley instead,
truly Skid Row, and so sad to observe.
Realization in Zen is not an understanding, or a model.
It is the simultaneous arising of Wisdom and Compassion, in accord with
circumstances and continuing endlessly as one continues practice.
