Your mind has been trained to be the way it is. A ritual thought or bevhaviour is ingrained as habit when done 3000 times. (I dont know if that is scientific) the point being that we have behaviours and reactions based upon previously learned patterns. These will not go away quickly. If you are angry at someone when they are "acting out" then you have an ingrained mental process that activates chemicals when you experience the angry human. And then you are swayed by those chemicals to act in a certain way.
1st step is to realize what thoughts and emotions are. They are bio chemical, and if they are bio chemical that means they are physical, and if they are physical then they are molecular and if they are molecular then they are also atomic and each particular atom has a nucleus. Now I have read the if the nucleus of an atom is the size of a grape then the electron would circle out 2 miles away. So if ultimate reality is at the sub atomic level then "our" reality is only real to us because we have eyes and senses. At the atomic level the only difference between a skin atom and an air atom is a circling electron. So at that level where is your anger? It doesnt exist exept for circling electrons in a universe of infinity. So when we come back to you and your reactions we can see that the world is like an illusion. Subatomic particles wiggling. When you realize this reality then you can understand emptiness. So when you can understand that your "reality" is relative then you can understand that everything is changing and morphing. "Everything" is temporary. So then a thought is temporary and an emotion is temporary. One moment you are happy the next angry. So your question on "how to do this" is based upon your study of yourself. What makes you get angry at these people. What is that trigger. A thought leads to emotion and an emotion leads to decision. A desicion can effect the rest of your life. Make no decisions based on emotion and realize emotion comes from thought, and when you were a child born into this world you had no thought. You only had life. Before the next thought and after the last one, you are an elite soldier of discipline realizing the "reality" of reality. And this set you apart from almost everyone and their vocal cord vibrations are only waves of sound coming at you. Then you can see that this angry human needs help to understand as well.
