Indeed, each individual is an unique identity and I thank God for that, otherwise the world can be quite boring.
>>>Perhaps it is their destiny to keep being reborn <<<<
Sure, why not? What make you think the way of your learning is THE one? Everyone has right to find his/her own way, and s/he might have different manner of learning Zen.
>>>>I am just trying to be a bigger egomaniac than the people who are
always posting their insights about Enlightenment. <<<<
Does the way you try to be a bigger egomaniac than the others really make you bigger or better than the others? Is that what you think about yourself of is that the way how others see and think about you?
>>>Every effort towards enlightenment, just makes the Ego stronger. <<<
Perhaps you should try to talk with your teacher or mentor about this because it really is very opposite from what I learn so far.
>>>>Thinking, talking, it is all Ego. Reading Zen books. Ego, Ego, Ego.<<<
Thinking has indeed something that we need to learn how to manage our egoism. while talking is a manner of communication (a way of output) and reading is a way of absorbing (a way of input). How can we expand the capacity and knowledge if inputs and outputs are blocked?
>>>>I am like some kind of anonymous person. Yet my Ego wants AC to be #1. <<<<<
How can you see the beautiful colors in Zen garden, when you only busy in looking at yourself?
>>>Ego is like some infinite creature that can wait for ever.<<<
Does ego has shape? has smell? has form? Ego exists when we can not let it go, but once we decide to let it go, it's gone, and we can then start to refill the space with wisdom and heart. Can any one hold on your ego when you refuse to let it go?
>>>our personalities are part of a universal Consciousness<<<
Universal consciousness on what? Your personality is your choice, and mine is my choice. Personality has great thing to do with our upbringing that shape our decisions of our preferences.
