Actually, he never saw it...just a passing guy I met at the club who complained gently about the fact that it was his birthday. To console him I bought him a drink, and went home and wrote the poem...never saw him again. Are any of us sharing it here in this group. Again the best of birthday poems has been penned by Dylan Thomas and it was Temp's poem and reference to the October weather which reminded me of this great oeuvre as it had a bit of that tone.
