Hello from the DSpace 3.0 Release Team!
I would like to announce the official schedule for the DSpace 3.0 Test-A-Thon
and release schedule. We kicked the idea around a bit and decided that since
there is still much documentation to get in (which is of course necessary for a

This is due to the fact that Git won't persist empty directories. I'm not sure
if anyone's gone there yet, but I think if we added .gitignore files in each of
these directories, it may solve this problem of their not existing when a build
is attempted.

I'm on of the developers that uses the NetBeans IDE for all of my DSpace work.

Perhaps it is an indication of some larger misconfiguration that will give you

Hardy,
We have not implemented it and I am curious to learn more about it because I
have occasionally seen strange Cocoon cache issues as well, particularly when

I think one of the real challenges people run into with Manakin's templating is
that there is no direct corollary between specific pages and individual
templates or template files. Templates apply all over the site to an array of

Sounds like a question for a UI developer, but one thought is that Cocoon is
capable of outputting various serializations of response content, so you have a
couple of avenues, some of which are more involved. Off the top of my head:
1.) Use Cocoon sitemap configuration, user-agent choice
