That's interesting. When I tried to run FF 57 with JAWS 18, I got a message warning me that my screen-reader would not function properly. This was a message/alert that came from Firefox itself, and not JAWS. And indeed, JAWS did not really work at all. However, the programme did not crash.

So using quick settings and finding the word “copy, and changing that to the setting that allows copying from the virtual viewer did work for me to select and copy text for the most part in chrome. Now I’m just got some live person issues to figure out. But that’s a totally different beast.
