Currently when a user creates a file, it is 'read only' for that user's group
and other users. Only the creating user has read write permissions.
How can I force all files created by any user in dosemu to be 'read and write'
enabled for all users or at least for users in the same group

Hi,
I'm a very happy DOSEMU-user having some trouble printing from DOSEMU (1.4.0)
to a CUPS printer set up with the RAW driver.
While printing from applications such as WordStar works OK, I am unable to
successfully print from DOS, such as listing a directory to the printer (DIR

Hi,
Firstly, I'd like to say thanks for an excellent DOS emulator and I hope it
doesn't sound like I am complaining about it..!
I am having a problem with DOSEMU and, for my own sanity, it would be good to
get an idea of what is going on.
I am running Ubuntu 6.06 (Dapper) with DOSEMU

Hi,
I am using DOSEMU 1.4.0 under OpenSuse 10.2.
When start WPDOS 6.2 it invariably crashes DOSEMU so that I find myself back at
the bash prompt. The only error message I
get is: ERROR: EMU86: error 99
I have tried a variety of startup parameters for wordperfect but nothing helps

Is there anybody who actually got wpdos 6.2 to run in DOSEMU?
This isn't of much help to you, but I use WP 5.1 and it works fine...

chance is to
use dosemu1.0 with msdos5.0, that are known to work fine with that
clipper application.
dosemu versions prior 1.2 were very unstable. It's just not good idea.
I use msdos 6.0 with netware client from novell.com

dosemu work fast enough for your
app to succeed? Maybe someone knows how to make it work with MSDOS 5.0
fast enough, or how to make freedos work faster, or sth like that.
