First-cycle bird associating with the Ring-billeds on L Calhoun at 6:20 PM. Also present were a Lesser Black-backed and at least one adult Thayer's. Generally the roosting gull flock at Calhoun is best observed late in the day from the west shore. Paul Budde Minneapolis

I have a third hand report that a male Lazuli Bunting was found today at the Vale WMA in Sibley County. To get to this WMA go north on Cty 6 from Henderson, then NW on a twp road for about 1.5 miles to the WMA. I'm not sure where in the WMA the bunting was seen. Paul Join or Leave
