The one exception is Konsole, which is a shadow of 3.5.10 ,
so that I've adopted Xterm & the Xfce Terminal for some jobs.
NB I am not using the desktop, which I haven't installed,
but such apps as Gwenview, Okular, Konquero

Hi all,
I've just done an "eix-sync" followed by an "emerge -NuD world" and
besides from gwenview not wanting to build, things appeared to go well.
I've rebooted and now noticed that the task bar, or whatever it's
called, now doesn't want to autohi
displaying Mails... so yes, the
desktop is cool and stable pim is not really since some versions...

Hi,
You should install plasma-desktop and use startkde in your ~/.xinitrc if
you do not use session manager.
