Don't bother, I never use mine, can't even remember whether it is Line Leve
in or out, though I think it is in. It has to do with how strong the signal
is, i.e. higher or lower voltage. My brother has the same problem, his
computer is all ensconced in furniture. I couldn't live with that, I like
min all in the open. All three are sitting on top of a long table.

OR m maybe the sound part of the card IS dead. Please bare with me, there
are two ladies with the same sound problem and I can't remember which is
which. I don't even know for cetain whether they are on different groups or
not.

I absolutely hate it when some program gives me an error # and does not
explain it. All programmers who do that should be strangled.... slowly. :-)
