Becky,
what type of input does your cd burner accept? If it's a firewire, then you go
firewire out of your DV camera to the firewire input of your CD burner.
If it's composite, for example, your DV camera may be able to output composite
(typically the 3 yellow, red, and white connections.)
If not, and if you don't mind a minor investment, you can purchase a A/D
converter that can convert from digital (firewire) to analog (composite or
S-Video). Canopus sells many. Just make sure it can go from A->D and D->A.

Subject: [AP] Digital video camera to digital CD burner
Hi,
I am looking for wire to run from my Digital video camera to digital CD burner
on home entertainment center. Is there a wire that transmitts DV to DV ?? I
checked local electronic stores around, and they say "no wire like that". Is
that true?? If so, how can I do this withOUT running it into my computer??
