And unless you are somehow importing that info to your web site then it doesn't count anyway. I wanted to bring attention to this bill and we need to be proactive because they may think that because you have certain permissions on your app you are doing something with it on your web site. Google needs to educate the legislators. Representative Johnson seems to be fairly open to input. Arstechnica.com has an article on California going after app developers but I downloaded the referenced law which was passed in 2003 and law in 2004 and it does not cover apps. So there is some misreporting there or our state government is confused (not unusual).

see name, zip code, city and email.
