err .. I never specified the v-link - other USB to s/pdif converters do
need power supplies; they all need cables .. I stand by my initial
impression; bodging a USB output onto a Touch then sticking a
USB-s/pdif converter on the end of that to get back to the s/pdif the
Touch had in the first place is plain daft. Why not put an a/d in
there, some valves, a bit of eq, a sows ear or two .. a sows ear to
s/pdif converter then an s/pdif to silk purse converter ..bingo!
