Thats makes this forum intresting, one day the Touch's spdif is one of
the better you can get on the market regardless off price, the next day
you need extensive mods ( that do nothing) to even begin to think about
listening to it ;)

A previus poster said that is basically solved problem I tend to agree.
Modern dac's are insesitive and modern sources are quite good including
the Touch .

Maybe a NOS dac with components put on the scrap heap  decades ago by
others, so I can start to experience the "difference" again ? Like the
old days when my dac and transport had to be on for hours to get to the
rigth temperature to lock properly ?

But solving this " problem " now 10 years after it got fixed for
everyone ?

In my hifi  using a CD of good quality unscratched ( to make it fare to
compare to a rip ).
My Meridian DVD-A player, My SB3 and my Touch sound completely
identical using digital outputs and thats the expected results, unless
some hardware is broken or the listener for example me is broken .
