The ColladaMax plugin I posted earlier exporter has worked just great here, bone animations and all. I am using it in the production of a project right now that has a relatively extensive amount of animation. I don't think my case is special, either, since I have worked with a few different artists on unrelated projects who all made use of this plugin without issue. I am using Away3DLite, but I would expect the regular version to be even more reliable.
I don't mean to discount any problems others may have had, since animations can be tricky and there are many ways to rig a mesh, but definitely try it out if you prefer Max. The built in Max Collada exporter is probably a no go, however, so I would recommend avoiding that. -Ken On Tue, Mar 23, 2010 at 8:33 PM, valeriuscrowe <[email protected]>wrote: > Thanks Tarwin, especially for the insights on Max.
