Hello Joebass,

I have been using maya 2009 with away3dlite(and papervision3d). I'm
using autodesk's collada exporter for papervision, but it seems away3d
works better with opencollada(because latter doesn't plit vertex, uv
etc data with \n after each vertex/uv point). I just googled this
tutorial for uv-mapping, it seems to have basics in it but you can
find tons of uv-mapping tutorials for your purposes:
