Alchemy is interesting because you can, with some extra effort, port
from, usually very useful, C/C++ codebase. Not so much for the
possible optimizations, imho.

If Flash tries to tap into the power of GPU-s, it will be a rocky road
getting there. That surely will be at least a little bumpy for Away3D
platform tagging along.
Also, any pre-relase information would be very useful for Away3D team.
