Don't worry! Obviously, if you write something using a current version of Away3D, any vastly superior future version will make it look bad by comparison, regardless of whether that superiority comes from accelerated 3D in Flash Player, or something else. For example, if you use a 800 poly model in an Away3D game now, and then all of a sudden you can use 80 000 poly models, your current version won't look very good compared to more modern implementations.
That said, I'm telling you, don't worry!
