Yesterday morning I attempted to install a BMW CD Changer in my wife's 1999
528it.

The mini-project was almost complete when I realized that someone had
clipped off the 3-Pin connector from the Power/I-Bus Cable.

Does anyone have the connector (or the cable itself) that I can buy?

Thanks in advance,

Dean

I suppose you could buy a whole changer harness cable, but installing
that would be far more of a pain than just splicing 3 wires.

Eurosport sells a really nice kit for this. It comes with
an installation CD that has some 80 pages of instruction.

Is there a "best" adhesive-type material to repair a clean
slice into a door gasket? Of course I could replace it, but
a repair might suffice and is likely to be cheaper.

TIA.

Sorry to be late to this party - just got my C&D yesterday. Anyone have a
source to back up (or refute) Bedard's comment about natural sources of CO2
emitting 30x more than human sources? This comment has me really
intrigued...

Assuming it doesn't present an angle of attack that generates lift. :)

Actually, you know what generates more downforce? An
absurdly extreme hypothetical situation crushing an
otherwise humorous commentary.

Fits just fine. I use one on my '95 M3 club race car (spoilers are free in
stock class). My butt dyno claims that it works on fast sweepers where the
tail of the car used to want to wander a bit. However, I'm slow as dirt so
YMMV.

Tip: You'll get one, repeat, one chance with the adhesive tape for the
install. If you miss, it is air chisel time! That's some tough stuff.
Save the extra for use around the house (or mounting earpiece in helmet!).

Selling a set (four) of M3 E36 wheels that I have. Time to clear my garage
of wheels & tires for cars I don't have (any more). Ebay auction is
320012426954, ends this Sunday.

Questions to my email or via Ebay messages.

Thanks,

Gregory in Georgia

P.S. Still looking for E34 parts (M5 steering box, factory sport seats, PDC
& LWR wiring harness), if anyone has these.
