Really? That's his only issue with the United States? Is that what Harvard
experts are telling you or is that your personal summary of motivation?
Either way, you are making a huge mistake by ignoring religious and
socio-economic factors. We should resist the temptation to over-simplify.

Then you will never know peace.

Shame on you -- shame on you! I did not say any such thing; quite the
opposite. Your ideology clearly is winning over anything else that might be
in your heart and mind.
We will never understand how economic globalism affects our neighbors, how
American social, political and economic attitudes affect our neighbors, if
we aren't even willing to consider its flaws. Have you stopped for a moment
to consider how our media, to name an enormous example, is regarded in
Islamic nations? How evil it appears to many religious people? The extent
to which what we regard as economic opportunity appears to be economic
oppression to poor communities?
I'm just waiting to hear you call me a traitor now, simply because I'm
willing to consider our relationship with our enemies in a way that
threatens your worship of capitalism. I respect and embrace it, but I sure
don't worship it. It is far from perfect, far from just and I consider
people who hold that illusion to be enemies of peace.
