Harnser's present position http://tinyurl.com/Harnser-s-route

Very few boats passed before we were ready to go this morning but as
soon as I started the engine there were 4 boats in the pound waiting to
go up ahead of us and it started to rain. There was very little coming
down the Audlem flight so the locks were against us and it was raining
even harder. The reason for lack of traffic coming down soon became clear.
A motor and Butty were coming down with only a couple onboard and were
having to work each lock twice. We found the couple very amiable but the
people following were moaning somewhat. We went up between the motor and
the butty come down. Once passed them we met boats in most locks. We
carried on to the Adderley flight where all the locks were against us
and no one coming down, by now thankfully it had stopped raining. We
worked up the flight and continued on to Market Drayton where we have
moored for the night.
