| If you haven't installed SQL-anywhere before are you including installing
that and installing a *working* ODBC
| driver for it? This alone could take anywhere from 2 hours to 20 hours if
you have problems!! Plus the default ODBC
| driver may be buggy requiring purchasing a 3rd party one... who will pay
for that?

We use Sybase ASA exclusively. I've personally insalled more copies of
versions 5.05 - 7.02, on Windows 95 - 2000 than I can remember. I've never
experienced the time frames you are talking about .. of course, then again
I've never had any install problems. The install itself is a no-brainer and
takes 1/3 the time of SQL server, easily. As far as finding a *working*
ODBC driver .. I've never had one that *didn't* work, and I just use the
ones that Sybase installs durring the setup. I'm not saying it doesn't
happen, but I doubt Angil will have any trouble really .. at least not from
Sybase itself. Still .. make it an hourly charge, just in case ;)
