No? Just tacit OK. It will happen, therefore it is okay. If it is not okay, it should not happen. Period.
I only ask about Christ from the stand point of the Bible. Much of our morale fiber and underpinnings are related to this book, whether we believe in it or not. We are influenced by it and some of it makes sense. What made people go from "an eye for eye" (old Testament) to "turn the other cheek" (New Testament). Something made people think that adopting this attitude was a good idea, billions have embraced it. But like so much, we can put aside that book when it does not meet the current need. -Gary > -----Original Message----- > From: Larry Lyons [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Friday, November 02, 2001 2:34 PM > To: CF-Community > Subject: RE: How long? > > > For one thing I never said it was OK to kill innocents.
