That's not my argument at all. I'm saying I'm not sure what it is, maybe it is murder. What I'm asking is, are we as a society prepared to throw 16 year old girls into prison for a decade? I'm asking if society is prepared for that. To me it's not obvious that we are. > Doesn't the government already regulate sex? Think of it punitively for a moment: if you have sex with a 16 year old *you* are punished, but she isn't even if she agreed. Meaning she's considered innocent, but we'd have to change that for abortion. For example, would an 18 year old go to prison for 20 years but a 17 year old would be considered innocent? And then wouldn't we have to ramp up the penalty for underage sex? To make the girl no longer innocent? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:177299 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
