There are many other options but, unfortunately, Mr. Bush has driven the world backwards rather than forwards when it comes to dealing with threats. Many of you disagree, but I've always believed, and still do, that international pressure is able to defeat any threat besides the overtly militant. In the case of terrorism, invade Afghanistan but evolve to a new model with Iraq. In the case of Iran there are *many* levers to use against them including an oil embargo. One thing many people forget is that Iran's big justification for nuclear power is because they IMPORT ALL OF THEIR REFINED OIL! A unified UN could easily shut down their energy supply as well as their money supply and that would be plenty to put an end to the problem. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:199647 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
