Yes I remember reading the same thing in the UK Dog World. I'm pretty sure
it was in the Friday's World section by Tuftonian, maybe two or three months
ago? Cavaliers and the old Club in the US were specifically mentioned.
There may have been a follow-up comment as well in a later issue.
