Michael, then you were the exception. When I used the Stud Review to look
for a mate for one of our Cockers, which I did many times in the 1970s, I
was never refused nor asked for a pedigree. The only requirement was a
brucellosis test. However, I did ask many questions about the stud, his
health, etc.
