Cathy, I was guilty of assuming that most people could finish out the quote.
Here is the rest of the sentence that I was alluding to:

"No man can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one, and love the
other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other." from Matthew
6:24

It really doesn't have anything to do with being mastered by either club as
you can see by the complete sentence. I do think that this is apt concerning
dual registration and allegiances.
