hi suze, im not sure exactly what you are asking, but from the sound of it she is in prelabor. usually the temperature drop will go to below 99, but some of them dont read the books. <G> and anytime between 24-36 hours you will see active labor. i dont see any reason to rush her off to the vet at this time. if she is in active labor and straining for an hour, THEN call the vet. claudia
