I assure you those of us who voted "yes" did so because we knew the CKCSCUSA would NOT be asked again by the AKC. #1. I think if the correct question was posed to the membership, the vote may have passed, however I also believe that it was that VERY fear that brought the forces together to formulate the question that was posed. #2. there are only about 119 CKCSCUSA breeder/members today who are willing to stand up publicly and sign their names to the present issue. I doubt very much this "issue" will pass whenever the vote is taken. As to the "issue" of mediation, that's a CKCSCUSA issue also. The AKC Parent club has no issue with members who hold memberships in other dog clubs neither does it have an issue with members' dogs that hold registration in other registries in addition to that of the AKC.
