I never said I did prelims on all my puppies.  Where did you get that idea?
I would have sworn I said I only test the dogs who will hopefully end up in
my breeding program.  I also said I suggest to people to eventually test
their pets and let me know the results and many of them do.  There is a
whole page on the Premier Site that explains what I ask my pet buyers to
do--things that will help breeders do a better job in selecting potential
sires and dams.  I don't require them to do it, but I do ask very nicely.

I do testing on all the dogs I keep by 12-15 months of age for one reason
only.  If they have an obvious problem I can rehome them when they are still
quite young.  I think it is easier on them and especially on ME to be able
to rehome them at 12-15 months of age instead of 24-27 months of age.
