Suze, the pup has to be a certain age before you can x-ray. I do prelims at
one year of age on everything that we keep. At that age, we can do the
patella certificate at the same time (puppies are patella checked at 8 weeks
as well). I wouldn't bother to a hip prelim of a pup under 6 months of age.
